The PTC/USDM Connected Service and Complaint App Wins First Place at Global Tech Challenge

USDM Life Sciences and PTC Connected Service and Complaint App won first place at the PTC Global Tech Challenge. The app is designed to leverage product connectivity, reduce risk of non-compliance, reduce risk cost of quality and increase competitive advantage.

USDM's Bryan Coddington and Amir Pirastehfar have been working with PTC for months to create an innovative solution for medical device companies using IoT. The challenge was comprised of 28 global teams within PTC and many cross functional subject matter experts in order to create a Proof of Concept solution that aligned with PTC’s Connected Journey solutions (Engineering, Manufacturing and/or Service).

The app is available for medical device manufactures today.
